Work methodology

Dynamic development of e-commerce business leads to growing demand for strong adaptation abilities. In order to precede trends and create suitable solutions, developers’ team has to be elastic and critical at the same time. This is why we resigned from classic implementation model that assumes the presentation of results of programming work just before deploy in favour of so called agile methodology. It is based on SCRUM, which is basically defined as project management outline that envisions regular day to day meetings which consequently help in ongoing evaluation of progress and its dynamic modification. Since, at each stage, clients play significant role in the process of reporting changes, this method minimalizes the risk of rejecting the final version of implementation.

Nevertheless, everything starts with meeting. Short chat with clients allows us to fully understand their needs and adjust our ideas perfectly to them. At this stage, we would like to get to know as much as possible about company’s philosophy and its development strategy. We ask detailed questions about products, previous solutions and e-commerce experience. Together with Project Manager, we set the scope and schedule of work that shape all the future concepts.

After careful analysis of clients’ needs, we start the stage of technical audit and designing interaction maps of webpage. This phase requires high level of optimalisation: every step that leads to payment finalisation is considered to be a barrier that may cause shopping cart abandonment. This is why, during our everyday work, we strive for making shopping process as easy as possible so our business partners are able to provide their clients with intuitive, one-stage e-commerce system.

Graphic designs are the next stage of our work. Together with business partners, we determine the direction of e-shop’s visual communication: on the basis of this decisions, our graphic designer prepares a few propositions of webpage visualisation. After the final acceptance (done by our client), the visual concept of e-shop is being developed and coded. Then, it is carrefully tested in order to find as many potentials bugs and mistakes as possible. This stage is followed by the launch of the website.

Effective communication is the base of success: this is why we pay careful attention to maintain regular contact with our clients. As a result, every question is answered, every solution is modified and every problem with software is solved in a short period of time. This is our secret of being able to react to dynamic changes of e-commerce trends at a faster pace.

This is, however, not the last part of our implementations. In order to maintain the highest quality of every webpage we deploy, we decided to enrich the process of implementation with follow ups. Ongoing monitoring, optimalisation, workshops and managament help are just some of many propositions of making page administration easier. Our clients’ successes and their customers’ satisfaction are the best proof that such help pays off.
